Joe laid motionless in his bed. Doctors had come in and out checking on him and asking him to walk around, but he couldnt stop thinking about how Melrose was dead, and ho he was never going to see her again. He never got to say goodbye, he never got to tell her how he truly felt. "Mr. Jonas, your free to go home" A nurse came in and said. She walked over to Joe and unhooked him from all the tubes. "Your brother Kevin said he was on the 6th floor. Hell take you home." Joe simply nodded and slowly got up. He changed into some pants and a sweater, and headed for the 6th floor. He slowly crawled his way thought eh halls, not used to walking for so long. His legs felt like jelly and his arms we struggling to hold up his weight. He finally made it to the elevator and worked his way down. "Joe! Hey! I cant believe youre awake!" Kevin said wrapping him in a friendly hug. "When they called my cell phone a few hours ago, I thought it was the best news Ive heard in a long time." Kevin said helping Joe over to the window looking out at Jack. "Wow, I heard Nick say that your son had cancer, but I didnt realize the reality of it until now." Joe looked out at Jack. "See Joe, he needs bone marrow. But he needs the right kind. When youre up to it, maybe we can run a test and see if you can fit. He really needs us Joe, you might save his life." Maggie said pleading to him. Joe once again nodded. "Of course, but, do you think one of you could drive me home, Im really tired." Kevin smiled "Yea, Ill take you" Kevin helped him over to an available wheel chair parked by a front desk. "Man, I should have thought of this when I was getting here. So much easier." Joe said relieved. He took a seat and sighed. "So, has Melrose came to see you yet?" Kevin said pushing Joe. Joe squeezed the wheel chair handles until his knuckles were white, they started to throb but the pain was better than how his heart felt. "How would she do that? Shes dead." Joe said as if Kevin didnt already know. Kevin pushed up to the door and helped Joe stand up. "ugh, there. And Since when!?" Kevin said looking Joe in the eyes. Joe looked away trying to hide his tears. "I saw her last week with some guy at the drug store!" Kevin said confused. Joe looked back at Kevin angry and also confused. "Nick told me she was dead. She killed herself. What. the. fuck?" Joe said making every word deeper in his voice. "Where is that mother fucker? Im going to kill him!" Joe said looking around pointlessly. "He came and asked for the car keys; he was going to the pharmacy. He left hours ago!" Kevin said trying to draw Joes attention. "Bitch! That means Melrose is out there. Shes okay, shes alive!" Joe called. He turned and ran as fast as he could out the doors. His legs felt as if they would give at any moment, but he didnt care, his side cramped up, but eh didnt care. Kevin tried to chase after him and called him. "JOE WAIT!" Kevin tried to stop him. He wanted to tell Joe what Nick had said to Melrose at the hospital 6 months ago, but he didnt have the time. Joe ran hard, not too sure where he was going, he just ran. He made it back to the school, But he knew with Christmas this close, they would probably be on their break. The snow had gotten into Joes shoes, making his feet cold and wet, but he didnt care. He just wanted Melrose. He ran to her house and fiercely knock on the door. But nobody answered. "MELROSE! MELROSE!" He tried to call her name, but nobody answered. Melrose laid in her room, hugging the sweater closer with each call the ghost made. She cried. She just couldnt get him off her mind. *talk about oblivious! Comments?*

Nuestro proyecto se basa en el desarrollo de un informe, puntualmente enfocado al uso de los mensajes de texto o SMS (en inglés es acrónimo de Servicio de mensajes cortos -Short Message Service, sistema de mensajes de texto para teléfonos móviles,) en los adolescentes. Es preocupante ver el grado de distorsión que van presentando algunos niños y adolescentes respecto al uso de los mensajes de texto o SMS. Es cierto que facilita la comunicación y ahorra tiempo pero también induce a descuidar la ortografía y cometer errores que luego se vuelven horrores ortográficos. Se suele abreviar palabras y muchas veces se escriben letras pensando sólo en la fonética que ayuda a descifrar el mensaje, por ejemplo: a1que (aunque), xq(por qué), salu2″(saludos); y así infinidad de abreviaturas, y hasta la consolidación de un código -sobre la base de abreviar las palabras-, para conseguir introducir el máximo de información en los 160 caracteres que usualmente permite la pantalla del celular. En la creación de este código mucho tienen que ver las generaciones más jóvenes. Esta tendencia se debe a que los adolescentes acceden cada vez más a celulares con múltiples servicios y a que los jóvenes usan los mensajes de texto como un servicio para sociabilizar con sus pares. Pero es necesario tener en cuenta que no siempre comunican, o comunican de forma eficiente, a veces se genera ruido en la comunicación llegando a la no comprensión del mensaje. Cada vez son más los adolescentes que dejan el diálogo de lado para comunicarse mediante mensajes de texto. El uso del teléfono celular como teléfono queda delegado a un porcentaje casi nulo respecto a los mensajes de texto. Esto esta logrando que cada vez más los adolescentes se inclinen por permanecer en el anonimato y se sumergen en el solitario mundo de la pantalla digital. Nuestro trabajo se desarrolla en un marco puntual direccionado a las Nuevas Tecnologías/celulares/sms/adolescentes. Cuenta la historia de dos niños entrados en la adolescencia que llevados a comunicarse a través de sus celulares no podrán apreciar lo tan lejos o cerca que están el uno del otro. Entablarán una conversación que posiblemente llegue a transformarse en una historia de amor, pero que por culpa de la mala interpretación y desperfectos tecnológicos de uno de ellos quedara solo en el espacio digital. Esta historia será interrumpida en tres oportunidades por entrevistas breves que ampliarán el tema por fuera de lo puntual ya mencionado. Entrevistaremos a un empresario que hace sus negocio a través de las publicidad televisiva invitando constantemente a que envíes un mensaje de texto a un numero determinado para lograr algo que desees.(Envíe un SMS al 2020 con la palabra horóscopo) También entrevistaremos a un grupo de adolescentes que nos darán su opinión acerca de los mensajes de texto y su uso. Hablaremos con un docente que nos informará sobre el uso de los teléfonos celulares dentro de los colegios. El video termina con un final abierto e inesperado pero que dará a entender cuales son los pro y los contra del uso de la mensajería instantánea. This is a commercial for a product called Glub. Glub is a universal charger. It charges literally everything imaginable. Don't believe me? You watch and see. This was a project for school, so I spent a day shooting and editting, so obviously it suffers from that. Plus the quality isn't as good as it could be.
